High Definition Brow Design is a bespoke eyebrow treatment that is totally tailored to you, with your brow goals in mind – I combine a unique design formula with custom-blended tint colour, multi-technique hair removal (waxing, threading, tweezing and trimming), and make up application to fill in any areas that need to grow into the new shape. I work with you to create your perfect look, whether your aim is to reshape your brows, tame bushy brows, or regrow/redesign overplucked eyebrows.

Grey Coverage and Taming Unruly Brows

The same method employed for brow lightening is used for taming unruly brows and tinting grey brow hairs. Bleaching penetrates the coarse, thick cuticle, allowing the tint molecules to get straight inside the hair shaft. It also softens the coarse hair in the process, allowing it to be tamed and shaped along with the rest of the brow.

Brow Lightening

Achieved through a specialist brow bleaching and tinting process, this treatment allows you to lighten your brow colour or change to a new brow shade to better complement your hair colour. It is also the ideal treatment for those who just want to soften their face by going from black brows to brown.

Contraindications

It's always a good idea to check you don't have any sneaky contraindications that may prevent your treatment from going ahead. These could be things such as thin skin, eczema, or breastfeeding to name a few.

Please have a quick read through by clicking HERE to ensure you are all good to go for your brow treatment.

If you have never had brow tinting before I strongly advise you book in for a free patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. Patch testing for waxing is also available if you have never had a brow wax before.

Preparation Instructions

THREE DAYS PRIOR TO TREATMENT

  • Avoiding exfoliating (both acid exfoliators and scrubs) and anti-ageing products around the brow area for three days either side of your treatment

  • Avoiding fake tanning products on the face for three days either side of your treatment

Aftercare - Within the first 48 hours

  1. If you’re prone to those pesky spots or bumps after waxing, it is true that it could just be your skin's response to the treatment, however there are a few simple tricks to try and avoid these from popping up. I will apply the SOS Rescue Brow Balm around the brow following your treatment which will help to soothe the skin and reduce the risk of threading spots.

  2. The other thing to avoid those pesky spots is to resist excessive rubbing or touching of the treated area for 24 hours. Your pores are more open following a hair removal treatment, so it’s best to keep your hands off in order to reduce transference of bacteria to the area. When you come in for your treatment you will be offered some hand sanitiser for this purpose.

  3. Avoid contact with direct sunlight, and the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for 48 hours after your treatment.

Ongoing Aftercare

  1. If you have had brow bleaching you will need to use a conditioning brow serum, such as the Lash & Brow Conditioning Serum,  twice a day to keep hairs conditioned and healthy. For an intense, overnight treatment, you can also apply the SOS Rescue Brow Balm two to three times a week.
