Your Beauty Bookings
LOCATION
I have a dedicated private studio in Springfield, Rotorua where I can cater for bookings of one or two people. Please read your booking confirmation email this is where you will find the full address details. Mobile services are available for bookings of three or more people.
WHAT TO BRING
You are welcome to bring anything you feel you need to - feel free to wear your hair net while it sets, bring your outfit to show the colour your camera just can't capture, or bring your selection of lippies if you need help choosing what to use for your touchups. Bring that makeup inspiration picture you love, or a photo of what you'll be wearing to your event. I've had it all, and it's all welcome.
BRIDAL PREVIEWS
At your bridal preview we will go though the colours and style you have planned for your wedding and bridal party, along with any makeup preferences or inspiration you may have. We will identify any particular skin needs and determine the best products for you, and from there I'll create your makeup look, which you will get to wear for the day to see how it looks, see how you feel, and see how the products sit on your skin. A makeup preview doesn't just end there. I welcome any feedback you have after wearing your wedding makeup look - what worked and what didn't, if there is anything you've changed your mind about, or something else we discussed that you'd rather go with on your day. It's a collaboration that remains open until the look is completed on your big day.
ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
All the preparation has been done, and now it's time to exhale slowly. When I arrive, I like to start with the bridesmaids and then, ideally, do the bride's makeup second to last. That way your makeup is as fresh as it can be, but you won't be sitting there stressing about what the time is and what you've still got to get done. Your environment may be calm and organised, or it may be busy and chaotic. Whatever the setting may be, you can count on finding a moment to breathe and find your calm when you're in my makeup chair.
